2011 Year in Review - Highlighted Posts

We only started this site in May but there are a few posts that we especially enjoyed. Our highlights are below:

-Learn why we're in love with AMC's Cinema Suites Dine-In theaters - it's like flying in first class.
-We also liked Williamsburg's new Nitehawk dine theater.
-Learn why we also really liked AMC's much-needed effort to offer healthy food at the movie theaters.
-We explained why Regal's UA Court Street 12 is such a god-awful place.
-We got to watch The Muppets with Jane Henson.
-Mike compared We Bought a Zoo to a Disney Channel Original Movie.
-We kept score in the battle of the Times Square multiplexes - E-Walk vs. Empire.
-Erica explained the curse of the AMC Loews Lincoln Square 13 in three epic installments. Part 1. Part 2. Part 3.
-Mike was disturbed by Rosie Huntington Whiteley's weird-looking lips in Transformers 3.
-We thought AMC's ETX - Enhanced Theatre Experience - was not worth the extra money. Worst of all, the screen looked old and was obstructed.
-Mike watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes among apes.
-We were divided on The Artist.
-We discovered that Screen 4 at the AMC Empire 25 in Times Square might be the grossest movie theater auditorium in Manhattan.
-Mike loved the new Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center at Lincoln Center, but hates the long name.
-We saw a free preview screening of Attack the Block, and while we really liked the movie, it was such a gross, scroungy experience that we'll never do a free screening like that again.
-Mike was humiliated when his mother's phone rang - and she answered - while watching The Help.
